Murod Ismailov, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Learning Sciences at the University of Tsukuba, and Adjunct Professor of Political Science at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies, Japan. Murod's current teaching and research interests are interdisciplinary and include both substantive and methodological areas, organized into four clusters: (1) Media and Technology for Learning; (2) Psychology of Learner Engagement, (3) Sustainability and Climate Change Education, and (4) Transformative Education in Central Eurasia and Japan.
His most recent papers were published in The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, Sustainability, Educational Psychology, Frontiers in Psychology, Cogent Education, E-Learning and Digital Media, F1000Research, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, International Higher Education, The Proceedings of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and other high-impact peer- reviewed periodicals.
